Water is supplied to Kapoho Beach Lots community by a private water company named Kapoho Water Company, Inc. (KWC). The company has its own Board of directors, separate from the KBCA board of directors.

County water lines end at the gate where the KWC lines begin. KWC is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the water lines inside the gate. Each property has its own water meter. The meters are read, and subscribers are billed every two months.


Among other details, the bill shows the following amounts:

Water Usage Charge: the amount owed for the actual usage of the water

Service Charge: covers administrative costs and leakage in the KWC main lines
