Aloha, and welcome to the Kapoho Beach Community Association website!
Kapoho Beach Lots is a private, gated community surrounding Kapoho Bay, just south of Cape Kumukahi on the eastern tip of the Big Island of Hawai`i, accessed by a road just south of the intersection of Routes 132 and 137. Route 137 has historically been referred to as Red Road due to the red cinders that were originally used as paving before the county covered them with asphalt...it sadly no longer has its red hue.
The Association is directed by 7 Board members serving staggered 2-year terms. As of September 20, 2013 there is currently one open Board position and any owner in good standing is welcome to volunteer to fill the reminder of this 2013 & 2014 term. The association's purpose is primarily to protect and maintain the roads and roadsides within the community and supervise other projects as deemed appropriate by the membership, and is funded by annual assessments of our membership as outlined within our bylaws.
Please peruse the various sections as listed on the left of this website for more specific information regarding our special community.
